The Theatre is intricately sculpted into the northern slope of a prominent hill, accommodating over 6,000 spectators. This prime location offers excellent opportunities for photography, providing a stunning backdrop suitable for various types of images.
The Citadel is situated atop Amman’s highest elevation, approximately 850 meters above sea level. Known as Jebel Al Qalaโa, this hill was once the site of the ancient city of Rabbath-Ammon, which flourished during the Iron and Bronze Ages. The fortifications encircling the Citadel extend over 1,700 meters and were built during the Byzantine and Roman periods. Visitors to the Citadel will find numerous attractions, with the Ummayad Palace and the Temple of Hercules being the most notable structures in the vicinity.
