Antalya gets properly hot. The Turkish State Meteorological Service's 1991–2020 averages put July and August highs at around 35°C, with June and September at about 32°C. The sea follows suit, typically reaching 28–30°C in July and August and staying around 25–26°C in October. May and October, with highs of roughly 26–27°C, are the sweet spots for combining the beach with Perge, Aspendos or the old town.
Winter is milder than at home, at around 15°C by day, but it is also very wet: December averages over 250mm of rain and January around 210mm, so this is not a dependable winter-sun choice. In 2027 two public holidays bring more Turkish holidaymakers to the coast: Ramazan Bayramı around 10–12 March and Kurban Bayramı around 16–19 May.
