In the Masai Mara, morning drives usually leave between about 5.30am and 6.30am, around sunrise, and last three to four hours, returning for a late breakfast. Exact times vary by camp.
No. Tigers range widely, so no one can promise a sighting on a given drive. Treat one as a bonus.
The minimum age is 15, strictly enforced in Rwanda and Uganda, so the gorilla trips do not suit younger children.
For Uganda, yes: every visitor needs one, on paper. Tanzania asks for one if you arrive from a yellow fever risk country, and Kenya is on that list, so the Kenya and Zanzibar deals need one to enter Zanzibar.
