Stage by Stage
The first flight takes you from the UK to Dubai International, then on to your hotel. Check-in times vary by hotel, so ask about early check-in if you land in the morning. Keep the first afternoon light to recover from the flight before the city days.
The Burj Khalifa observation decks and Dubai Mall sit side by side in Downtown Dubai, while the Gold and Spice Souks in Deira show the older trading city across the Creek. A desert safari can be added as an optional tour for a half-day out of the city.
The second flight takes you from Dubai to Singapore Changi, and on to your Singapore hotel. At Gardens by the Bay, the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome sit beside the Supertree Grove. Eat at a hawker centre such as Lau Pa Sat. The MRT links Marina Bay with Chinatown and Little India.
The last connection is the flight from Singapore to Denpasar, followed by the drive south to your Bali hotel. Uluwatu Temple on the southern cliffs is the easy half-day trip, and Ubud, further inland, suits a full day.
At the end of your stay you fly from Denpasar back to the UK, and your quote sets out the routing and timings. If your flight leaves in the evening, ask the hotel about a late check-out so the last day is not spent in the lobby.

Stopping in Dubai splits the long journey to Asia into two shorter flights. Scheduled flights take about 7 hours from London to Dubai, 7.5 to 8 hours on to Singapore, and 2.5 hours to Bali. Allow most of a day for the move from Dubai to Singapore once transfers and check-in are counted.
