What is Jumeirah Beach Hotel like?
The Ocean room categories face the sea, and Jumeirah’s Ocean Deluxe page describes views across to Burj Al Arab. The Family Garden Suite is the exception: it looks over the hotel gardens instead. Madinat Jumeirah and its souk are the next development along the coast.
It is a large family hotel rather than a hushed retreat. The family room categories, the kids club and the Club pools tell you who it is planned around. Couples still get the beach and the views.

Jumeirah lists 17 accommodation categories here. The table covers the ones families ask about, using the sizes and occupancy on the hotel’s own room pages. Categories not listed are left out because their details are not published clearly enough to compare.

The two family categories (Ocean Family Deluxe and Ocean Family Club) have a king-size bed plus two fold-out beds. That works for younger children. With two children aged ten or over, book two bedrooms rather than rely on fold-out beds for a full stay.
The Al Bahar villas face Burj Al Arab. Jumeirah’s page for the two-bedroom villa lists a butler, a private terrace with a plunge pool and airport lounge access. These are the hotel’s inclusions for villa guests, so check at quote which ones apply to a package booking.
Club or non-Club?
The Club rooms match the standard Ocean rooms for space, so what you pay for is access. Jumeirah lists happy hour at the Pearl Lounge, private chilled pools, Talise Spa access and kids club entry. Ask us to price a Club room against a larger non-Club room on your dates, because the gap varies by month and by length of stay.
Is Wild Wadi included, and is it open?
Unlimited Wild Wadi access has long been a headline benefit for hotel guests, and the waterpark sits next door. Dubai media reported that the park closed temporarily from 25 March 2026, as a precautionary safety measure linked to regional security. Wild Wadi’s own website now lists daily hours of 10:00 to 18:00. We have not found an official reopening announcement, so we confirm the park’s status and guest access for your dates when we quote.

Restaurants and bars: what’s open
The hotel’s own dining page lists nine venues, and that is the list we work from. Some guides quote far higher counts, so treat those numbers with caution. The table shows each venue’s status as the hotel lists it.

With four venues closed, there are fewer places to eat on site than the hotel had in past years. Madinat Jumeirah, the neighbouring resort, has a much wider range of restaurants and bars.
Jumeirah Beach Hotel for families: kids club, pools and beach
A Jumeirah Beach Hotel family holiday is built around three things: the beach, the pools and the kids club.
Kids club. Jumeirah Circle is the hotel’s kids club. Some older guides still name a different club, so go by the hotel’s current name when comparing quotes. Jumeirah does not publish the age range on its hotel page, and third-party sources disagree, so we confirm ages and any charges when we quote.
Pools and beach. The hotel has several pools, including the chilled Club pools. Published pool counts and beach lengths vary between sources, so we do not quote either. Burj Al Arab is the backdrop to every beach photo.
Is Jumeirah Beach Hotel right for couples?
It can be, with the right expectations. The hotel suits couples who want sea views, a proper beach and an easy base for Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah. It is less suited to couples who want an intimate hotel or a lively bar scene on site.
Couples after a calmer setting can compare two sister hotels. Jumeirah Al Qasr sits within Madinat Jumeirah, with its waterways and souk. Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is another Jumeirah hotel on the same stretch of coast.
How much does a Jumeirah Beach Hotel Dubai holiday cost?
The headline from-price is a starting point. Five things move it most.
- Month. June and July are the lowest-priced months in our rates. February, April and October are among the highest, and January is priced on request.
- Cabin. Business class costs roughly 1.5 to 2.4 times the economy package price, depending on month and length of stay.
- Length of stay. The 5-night option adds between about £280pp and £1,100pp over 3 nights, depending on month and cabin.
- Room. Prices are based on the entry room. Club rooms, suites and villas cost more.
- Departure airport. Your UK airport changes the flight cost.
One charge is paid locally rather than in the package price. Dubai’s Tourism Dirham fee at five-star hotels is AED 20 per occupied room, per night, settled at checkout. For two interconnecting rooms, it applies to each room.
