Multi-Centre Holidays 2026 from the UK

Multi-centre holiday packages join two or more stops into one trip, with the flights and transfers between them booked alongside the hotels. You will also see them sold as multi-destination or multi-city holidays. Every package listed below is built that way. What's included in our multi-centre holiday packages

Each of our multi-centre packages is priced by cabin, Economy and often Business. That means the return flights from the UK are in the price. On top of those flights, each package covers four things.

• The leg between stops. Usually a flight, but not always. Some pairings rely on a seaplane, a boat or a private car, and the method decides how much of the day you lose. The table in the next section gives it for each combination.
• Transfers at each stop. Airport to hotel and back again. On Dubai and Mauritius, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and Dubai and Bali the transfers are private, so a driver meets you in arrivals instead of a coach doing a hotel loop. The seaplane on Abu Dhabi and the Maldives is shared.
• Hotels at every stop, with board set hotel by hotel. Dubai and Mauritius is bed and breakfast at both hotels. Doha and the Maldives is all-inclusive at both ends. Read the board for each stop rather than assuming the second hotel matches the first.
• Flights home from the last stop where the route needs it. Dubai and Abu Dhabi flies you home from Abu Dhabi, and New York and Niagara from Buffalo, so nobody doubles back to the first city.

How to choose a combination: the multi-destination pairings we sell

Start with the stop where the weather decides the trip, which is nearly always the beach, and fit the city around it. The best-months column refers to that stop. Read the middle column twice. A two- or three-hour hop costs a morning and little else. Dubai to Bali is over nine hours in the air, which is why our 10-night Dubai and Bali package keeps Dubai to 3 nights and gives Bali the other 7. The Maldives is really two journeys on the same day: the flight to Malé, then the island transfer.

Some pairings also suit some travellers better than others. Dubai and the Maldives is a short city fix followed by a week of doing very little, and a Maldives resort is one island that you stay on. Active children can find that small. The Golden Triangle with Goa runs the other way round: early starts and long drives first, then the beach to recover.

How many nights per stop

Our own packages make a decent template. Dubai and Mauritius is 3 nights in Dubai and 7 in Mauritius. Abu Dhabi and the Maldives is 4 and 6. Hong Kong and Bali runs 3 nights in Hong Kong, 3 in the jungle near Ubud and 7 at Jimbaran on the coast. New York and Niagara is 3 nights in Manhattan, then 4 at the falls.

The pattern is the same each time. The city gets fewer nights than the beach, and the move between them takes most of a day. Three nights in a city gives you two full days on the ground, enough for Dubai or Hong Kong at a sensible pace. Fewer than five nights on a beach rarely feels like a rest, because the first day goes on arriving and the last on packing.

A safari stop breaks the city rule. Game drives happen early and late, the animals keep their own timetable, and three nights is the least we would plan around. Be wary of any two-night stop that ends in a long journey. You arrive tired, leave early and see little beyond the hotel.

Pacing mistakes to avoid

• Landing in Malé too late for the seaplane. Maldives seaplanes fly only between sunrise and sunset, and the main operator asks you to land by 15:30 local time to reach your resort the same day. On Abu Dhabi and the Maldives, the arrival time into Malé is the detail to check when choosing dates. Miss it and your first night is in Malé or Hulhumalé.
• Ignoring the city's season. The best-months column follows the beach, but the city has weather too. Choose Mauritius for its winter and your Dubai nights fall in the Gulf summer. Three nights of mostly pool and malls can still work, as long as you expect the heat.
• Treating the move day as a sightseeing day. After a long drive or two flights in a row, nobody enjoys a late dinner reservation across town. Keep the evening of any travel day free and save the big outings for the first full day.
• Squeezing in a third stop. On ten nights or fewer, a third stop means two moving days and two first evenings spent unpacking. That leaves about six clear days split across three places, and none of them gets enough.

Booking tips for multi-centre packages

• Keep every leg inside the package. An ATOL certificate is issued as soon as you pay anything, even a deposit, and it lists what is protected. A connecting flight or extra hotel you book yourself is not on it. If that piece is cancelled, nothing in the package has to move to fit around it. There is more on how ATOL protection works.
